- Keeping an audience's attention requires the speaker to be entertaining. If a presentation isn't entertaining, it's not a presentation. It's a cure for insomnia. Mr. Calhoun entertains by using the following:
- Audience Interaction (and not the overused ‘raise your hand if…’
). - Humor.

- Not only should a presentation be entertaining, it should also provide audiences with a Take-Away. If there's no Take-Away, it's no different than going to a movie.
